An open-week of technology was held between 18th to 22nd May in SKLAM to showcase the scientific research and technological advances to students. The theme of this activity is: ironmaking and steelmaking industry under the background of “carbon peak, carbon neutrality” in China. The open-week includes the following activities:

(1) Prof Guo, director of SKLAM, gave a lecture on low carbon metallurgy, energy conservation and emission reduction.

(2) Exhibition of recent scientific and technological advances in SKLAM

(3) Contest on safety knowledge in metallurgical industry

(4) Open-day of public laboratories
