Born in May 1991, Dr. GU obtained her bachelor degree in 2013, and Master degree in  2015 and Doctoral degree in 2019 at USTB in the major of Metallurgical Engineering. Meanwhile, she studied overseas from 2017 to 2018 at RWTH as a joint Ph.D student.

At present, she is mainly engaged in the research of inclusion control and secondary refining of high quality steel, development of multi-scale fatigue life prediction model, design and optimization of anti-fatigue steel.
